The African Association for Rhetoric (AAR) started out by organising  biennial conferences. The conference series formed part of the seminal Rhetoric and Democracy Project. The conferences have metamorphosed from biennial conference to an annual event. Collaterals from previous conferences have been archived on this site. Members of the African Association for Rhetoric (AAR) who are interested in hosting the conference may indicate at the Annual Roundtable.
